What To Expect From Apex Legends Battle Pass So far as I write this the only thing we know for sure about the Apex Legends Battle Pass is that it is coming. Will We See A Battlefront III For some reason, over the weekend I had a real hankering to play some Star Wars Battlefront II and you know what? I actually had a heck of a time! I know that EA and Dice have taken a real beating because of Star Wars Battlefront II and the lackluster response to Battlefield V. However if it was not for all of EA’s greedy decisions I really do feel that Star Wars Battlefront II would have been very well received by the gaming public. I thought the campaign was excellent and the multiplayer mode was great. Even if they did take out my favorite mode from the first game, Drop Zone. It was the horrible, horrible way they locked characters behind an unfair paywall and their loot boxes that drove people insane. Head To Paris For Music Romance And Bullets In Overwatch For me, Overwatch is one of the best games around when it comes to giving players more content and not asking for money in return. Well, just the other day their brand new map went live for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players after being on the PTR for PC players. Blizzard has captured the feel of Paris (well in this universe anyway) very well and my favorite part of the map has to be the robot lounge singer. It is a very well designed map and it has the perfect blend of open areas as well as tight corridors and rooms where you can try and lure opposing players into an ambush. While the robot lounge singer is my favorite looking part of the map. I really do love the courtyard section of the fancy house. There are so many areas that you can come and go here and every firefight that I have gotten into here has been a great deal of fun. Why Are There Loot Boxes In Black Ops IIII Even if you are not into Call of Duty you no doubt have heard of Activision’s latest cash grab. They have decided to add in loot boxes to Call of Duty Black Ops IIII. Now granted this is not something 100 percent new to the series, but it does come across as really sleazy. These are called, Reserve Crates and they will cost you 200 COD points each. Inside each one will be three items. You can get cosmetic items as you would expect, but they are also putting weapons into these Reserve Crates. Not just ordinary weapons, but weapons like the Daemon 3XB which along with the fact it gets an XP boost makes it better than the standard weapons! As if getting items that can give a player advantage was not bad enough. These Reserve Crates also are more than happy to give you doubles! Apex Legends Gets Fixed Before First Big Update If you have been following the Apex Legends Twitter you will have seen that the game is about to get its first addition, a brand new gun. Now as I write this they have a video on their Twitter showing off the gun, but no exact details have been given. We do know that the update is supposed to happen at some point on Thursday. That though is not what I really want to talk about today. Respawn have addressed a few issues that some people have had. From what I understand these were mainly affecting people who play on the PlayStation 4. This is known as the 1.04 patch and the PS4 crashing issue appears to be the main thing that it was sent to fix. The patch is also there to fix an issue where if you get revived you move slower than you normally do. Grand Heist Is Coming To Black Ops 4 Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is getting some hot new content this week in the form of Operation Grand Heist. This is a pretty big update and it is scheduled to go live on Ps4 this week and then on Xb1 and PC the following week. There is a really cool trailer for this, but it moves at 100 mph so it is very easy to miss all the excitement that is going on in the trailer. The first thing to mention is that for Blackout we have a new specialist to play as, Outrider. There is also going to be something called Ghost Town which is a new mode map for Cod Blackout. Two new game modes have also been revealed as being part of Operation Grand Heist. These are called, One in the Chamber and Hot Pursuit.
