No Plans To Bring Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 To Switch

While the Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 reveal was very, very exciting and many of us are super pumped up for the game. There was one small thing that kind of ate away at me once the reveal was over and I was starting to process it. What about the Nintendo Switch?

Activision has always supported Nintendo consoles very well, even the Wii U had Call Of Duty show up on it and there was a string of Call Of Duty games for the Wii, Nintendo DS and even going back to the Game Cube.

Many thought that with the Nintendo Switch selling like chocolate covered hot cakes, Activision would want a piece of that action and bring Call Of Duty to the Switch. Well, Yale Miller who is one of the top dogs at Treyarch said that there were no plans to bring Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 to the Nintendo Switch.

I think the key here is Black Ops 4. They never said Call Of Duty in general, but specifically Black Ops 4. During the Wii days when the console could not replicate what the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 were doing, Wii owners got their own ports of each Call Of Duty game and some of them worked very well. I though, feel that with a few scale backs, Call Of Duty could work on the Nintendo Switch and it would be a huge success, the Switch still needs that big first person shooter game!

Call Of Duty and the Nintendo Switch seem like a winning combination, so hopefully, at some point, we will see the series show up on the console.
